It is important that Stellar Recruitment Pty Ltd collects personal and sensitive information about you, as it will help us, assist you in obtaining employment. The information collected is solely for the use by Stellar Recruitment Pty Ltd and will only be accessed and used by Stellar Recruitment Pty Ltd employees.

Your personal and sensitive information will be collected in a number of different ways including the following

• Attending a consultation, interview or by submitting your resume;
• Taking part in any psychological or medical assessment;
• When we contact one of your nominated referees;
• When you provide us with any additional information about you;
• Results or inquires that we might make to your former employers, work colleagues, educational institutions, professional associations or registration body.

We will use this information in the following manner:

• To assess your ability and suitability for the position/s;
• For your performance appraisal;
• Our management of any complaint, investigation or inquiry in which you are involved;
• Any insurance claim or proposal that requires disclosure of your personal or sensitive information.

How your information may be disclosed:

• Potential and actual employers and clients of Stellar Recruitment Pty Ltd
• Referees;
• A Workers Compensation body;
• Any person with a lawful entitlement to obtain the information.

Although all information we ask from you is voluntary, if you choose not to provide the information we seek, we maybe limited in our ability to assist you in seeking employment.

You can gain access to your information to change or correct it if it is wrong. (Some exceptions apply under the law.)

Unless you advise us otherwise, we will destroy any personal or sensitive information that we hold on you if it has not been updated by you for a period of two years.

If you require us to dispose of your information before this time please inform us in writing.

We will destroy your information in a secure and confidential manner.
