CSG to LNG projects are the talk of the town and as we edge closer to final investment decision, a position has emerged for a Technical Assistant to support the Technical Manager and assist the Production Enhancement team within the Upstream Development Group.

Further to this, your key accountabilities will include:

The implementation, maintenance and enhancement of subsurface databases including production enhancement databases and relevant spreadsheets
Support the production technology team in the establishment of authority for expenditure for upcoming activities
Monitor data transfers between other departments, JV partners, reserve certifiers and government bodies
Perform and update GIS mapping as required by the frac team and liaise with the GIS department to ensure database is current
Assist with group budgets, AFE reconciliation and purchase requisitions
Assist with the production graphs and production data for weekly reports and management documents

To be considered, your background and experience will include:

Basic knowledge of subsurface principals and previous experience working in a similar capacity in oil & gas or mining
Highly proficient across MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project etc) with experience in MS Access desirable
Exceptional communication and report writing skills with the ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines
The ability to multi-task and operate in a matrix team structure, effectively liaising with other groups
Exposure to SAP and / or ArcGIS will be looked upon favourably
