Within this role your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Leading the mine geological team to achieve production goals
Growing the mine resource inventory
Overseeing underground mapping and geological modeling
Advancing the underground drilling program
A high level of interaction/mentoring with geologists, supervisors, engineering department
Achieving a high level of safety and environmental standards

To be successful it is ideal that applicants will have:

Bachelor of Science in Geology degree
5+ years underground mining experience
Good proficiency with mining software
Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor others
Excellent communication and motivation skills
